Dr Patty Salisbury is a permanent doctor and has been at Canning St Surgery for over 20 years.  

Dr Salisbury studied medicine at the University of Vermont and completed a 3-year family practice residency at Dartmouth Hospital, both in the U.S.

Her interests cover all aspects of family medicine with an emphasis on obstetrics, women's health and complementary medicine.  Dr Salisbury takes a holistic approach with her patients.

Dr Peter Riddell has been at Canning St Surgery for well over 35 years and is a permanent doctor.

Dr Riddell is passionate about practicing medicine in a rural area and has a wide range of experience in all aspects of general medicine .  He has a keen interest in Geriatric medicine, Men's health and drug and alcohol.

Dr Riddell also does Drug and alcohol clinics at SERH and also visit the local nursing home.  He is also a supervising doctor for new doctors entering into General practice.

 Dr Singh has more than 17 years experience in medicine.

He has worked in the Emergency Department as a senior registrar, General medicine as a registrar, and has over 17 years of experience in medicine.    

 Dr Singh's interests are in all fields of general practice including chronic disease management, and is also passionate  about family medicine.

 Dr Singh will be consulting 5 days per week to see existing patients and his books are open to new patients.

Dr Jian Zhang comes to us from Sydney.

Dr Zhang has had extensive experience in the Emergency department at  Mildura Base Hospital and Illawarra Shoalhaven Hospital.

His interests are in all aspects of general practice.

Canning Street Surgery welcomes Dr Manish Arora to our team.

Dr Arora and his family come to us from Western Australia.  

Dr Arora's interest are in all fields of general practice including chronic disease and women's health and family medicine.

Dr Arora will be consulting 5 days per week and will be seeing new patients and will be a permanent doctors here.

Here at Canning St Surgery we have two Registered Nurses.

Both Bronnie and Kirsty have many years experience in nursing and are available 5 days per week  

El Laird is our Dietitian and Diabetes Educator.  

She has a wide knowledge and experience in both fields.  El offers a comprehensive and holistic multidisciplinary service in both fields.  Our patients are provided with support and guidance  to improve their health by providing nutritional and dietary advice and support with the diabetic needs.

El is available for appointments every Monday. 

 You will require a referral and  EPC from your GP but she is available for private appointments.
